When my kids came along we played a simple board game (can't recall the name) and a couple of Atari computer baseball games. A couple of them started collecting cards and still do. Now we have league play over the phone (free cell phone minutes are great) with MBL Showdown. Now the grandkids are beginning to play. It is fun, but Strat-O-Matic would be like making the big leagues.Okie2003https://www.blogger.com/profile/05430652983530407398noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-480306287120784892.post-77062877319300113812010-05-13T16:45:28.013-04:002010-05-13T16:45:28.013-04:00I too played Strat-O-Matic as a kid. It consisted of a plastic sheet that was the field, a set of goal posts and this kicker guy that when you pounded on his head his leg would kick. The object, obviously was kick field goals, but it didn't take long for me and my brothers to discover that it was much more fun to launch the hard plastic football at each other.Slangonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12988425450951611266noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-480306287120784892.post-32803001358095383172010-05-13T06:39:23.396-04:002010-05-13T06:39:23.396-04:00I played Strat-o-Matic and Statis Pro Baseball for...I played Strat-o-Matic and Statis Pro Baseball for hours and hours as a kid. I would get home from school and go to my room and continue my season. I like Strat-o-matic more but with Statis Pro you could make cards so I had tons of home made cards so that I could play season after season.dpucciohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08594750247507685072noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-480306287120784892.post-79929260428031393842010-05-13T01:55:16.196-04:002010-05-13T01:55:16.196-04:00The only one I played as a kid was electronic foot...The only one I played as a kid was electronic football. I didn't even realize it was a game until I got older, I just liked the cards that came with it. I've played a ton of Strat on The Sporting News's site and it's a great game, the only issue I had was no live draft, it would be way more fun with a live draft. Thanks for the cool contest.Jhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18051794332164396290noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-480306287120784892.post-66368593026067547902010-05-13T00:46:47.845-04:002010-05-13T00:46:47.845-04:00I remember playing WWF board game as a kid.
